Brilliant opportunity to be part of a high-impact digital transformation, working with a fantastic team!
Why You’d Like It
If you’re a Senior BA who thrives when a project is still a "big idea" rather than a finished set of requirements, this is for you. You’ll be right at the pointy end of a major digital transformation, moving beyond just taking notes to actually shaping the solution, securing the funding, and seeing the implementation through to the finish line.
The Story
Our client is about to embark on a significant step-change in their digital capability. Planning is kicking off right now, and they need a heavy-hitting Senior BA to sit within the Programme Office. This isn’t just about maintaining the status quo; it’s about solutioning, RFP work, and exploring AI and automation to streamline bid management. You’ll be the one running the cost-benefit analysis and budget prep to get these initiatives off the ground.
Company Profile
This is an established enterprise player currently undergoing a massive shift in how they use technology. They’ve already ticked off some major system upgrades and are now looking at broader enterprise tools to drive efficiency. They have a supportive, structured environment but are agile enough to value someone who can take ownership of a project’s lifecycle.
Your Role
You will be the bridge between senior leadership and technical delivery, ensuring that the business needs are perfectly translated into functional reality. You’ll partner closely with the Programme Manager and Technical Lead to navigate the transition from initial RFP through to testing and phase-two rollout.
- Lead the requirement gathering and documentation for large-scale enterprise system selections.
- Drive the "pre-work," including business case submission, cost-benefit analysis, and securing project funding.
- Manage the end-to-end view of the project, stepping into project management tasks where necessary to keep things on track.
- Facilitate both waterfall planning and sprint cycles, ensuring the technical team and the business remain in sync.
- Prepare the groundwork for testing and QA, working alongside the QA Lead to ensure a smooth transition to live environment.
- Package: $140k–$150k plus benefits.
- Flexibility: A 3/2 split between the office and home.
- Team Culture: Join a high-performing PMO team where you’re backed by seasoned PMs and QA Leads.
You’re a seasoned BA with strong experience in transformations who doesn’t need a hand-held approach. You understand the "why" behind a project and can talk comfortably with sponsors and stakeholders at the highest level.
- Experience: You’ve got a solid track record in Digital Transformation and Enterprise Systems. Bonus if you have experience with Workday and Oracle.
- Toolkit: You’re comfortable with both Waterfall and Agile/Sprint planning.
- Mindset: You see the big picture and take accountability for the project’s success.
- Skills: Strong BID management, RFP, and solutioning experience are essential; knowledge of AI/Automation tools is a huge plus.
- Communication: You can distill complex technical requirements into a clear narrative for the business.
