As the business grows, so does the demand for a stable, cost-effective, and highly reliable internal platform consumed by developers. They are in need of an experienced Product Owner to manage the complexity of two SRE-focused squads and ensure their work on the cloud foundation (AWS/Azure) aligns with the wider business priorities and cost objectives. Your Role
You will be the dedicated Product Owner for foundational cloud platforms, acting as the key conduit between technical teams and the wider product group. You’ll manage a wide scope across two dedicated SRE squads, ensuring their technical roadmap delivers maximum value to the internal customer base.
Key responsibilities will include:
You’re an experienced Senior Product Owner with a background in the cloud platforms space, a curious mind and an appetite for learning. You don't need to be an expert in every cloud tool, but you must be comfortable with the concepts behind things like Terraform, Kubernetes, and build pipelines. Our client needs someone senior and robust who can manage multiple initiatives across two squads at a fast pace. Most importantly, you bring strong commercial acumen, experience with defining and tracking SLOs, and a personality that thrives on collaboration.

- Stakeholder Management: Engaging with developers, security, architecture, and other product groups to capture and translate requirements.
- Prioritisation & Planning: Leading the requirements breakdown and feeding into the quarterly planning cycles based on value, feasibility, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Roadmap Ownership: Defining and communicating the vision and roadmap for the internal cloud platform, with a focus on Service Level Objectives and internal customer metrics.
- Execution Management: Overseeing the sprint-by-sprint execution within the quarter using methodologies like Scrum, and owning the backlog prioritisation.
- Commercial Acumen: Applying a commercial mindset to platform decisions, actively looking for ways to improve system reliability and reduce running costs.
- Competitive salary ranging between $140,000 - $160,000.
