Your Role

• Collaborating with Platform Architecture, Lead Engineers, and Technical Product Managers/Owners to develop and maintain a technical roadmap.
    
• Providing technical direction and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and technical architecture.
    
• Designing and overseeing the implementation of new systems and features, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and security.
    
• Championing software design and engineering best practices across all engineering teams.
    
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on product and technology roadmaps.
    
• Providing hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and individual engineers.
    
• Leading and supporting code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
    
• Leading efforts to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
    
• Designing and implementing comprehensive observability solutions, including monitoring and alerting systems.
    
• Providing critical support and guidance during production incidents.  

Your Fit

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of delivering complex software projects.
    
• Expert-level knowledge of software architecture and design, including microservices, distributed systems, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
    
• Expert-level knowledge in one or more programming languages relevant to mobile (Android) such as Java or equivalent modern languages, alongside experience with React JS for frontend UI development.
    
• Experience leading software architecture and design for large-scale, complex systems.
    
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
    
• Experience with observability tools and practices, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
    
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with experience leading development teams and guiding technical direction.
    
• A self-starter attitude, decisive with a strong ability to make well-considered technical and strategic decisions quickly and effectively.
    
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a can-do attitude and the resilience to tackle complex technical challenges.
