Our client is a large, well-established New Zealand organisation currently undergoing significant transformation. Data is at the core of how they plan to grow, improve, and future-proof their business. This role is embedded within their enterprise insights team, acting as a key partner to senior stakeholders. You’ll be brought in to challenge thinking, shape direction, and lead the charge on delivering strategic insights that unlock value.

Your Role
You’ll lead a squad of 4–8 analysts to deliver insights that influence strategic and commercial priorities. Your job is to bring clarity to complex questions, connect the dots across business units, and guide the team in building decision-making tools that drive outcomes.

- Leading delivery of enterprise-level analytics across strategic and transformation initiatives
- Building strong relationships with senior business leaders and influencing their decision-making
- Coaching your team in commercial thinking, stakeholder management, and storytelling
- Translating ambiguous business problems into structured insight roadmaps
- Ensuring the right initiatives are prioritised, resourced, and delivered for maximum business impact
- Hybrid working model – minimum 3 days in office (central Auckland)
- High exposure to business-critical projects and executive stakeholders

We’re looking for:
- Strategic experience from consulting or large corporates (ideally in transformation, analytics, or commercial roles)
- Deep understanding of how insights can drive pricing, promotions, or customer value
- Strong leadership background, with experience managing analytics teams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Technical confidence (e.g. SQL, BigQuery, Tableau) without needing to code every day
