Your Role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, customer-focused backend systems
• Join architecture discussions and contribute to the broader technology strategy
• Manage release cycles and cloud services (ideally AWS), ensuring performance and uptime
• Build internal tools to support development and operations
• Respond to live operational events and implement preventative solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and guide their growth in backend development and system design
• Help ensure the overall quality, security, and integrity of all software released

Your Fit

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Docker
• Experience designing APIs and working within SaaS or cloud-native environments
• Solid understanding of user-centred development, design principles, and modern DevOps practices
• Exposure to AWS or similar cloud infrastructure (CI/CD, monitoring, scaling)
• Comfortable mentoring junior developers and leading through influence
• Clear communicator with strong documentation and collaboration skills
• Experience with Agile or Scrum workflows
